Baptism at St. Cecilia
Baptism schedule and requirements
Baptisms at St. Cecilia are typically held on Saturday mornings, depending on availability. Families are invited to begin the process by ensuring they meet the parish requirements and scheduling in advance.
Requirements
Parents must be registered parishioners and active in the parish for at least six months before scheduling a baptism.
Preparation
A baptism preparation class is available and can be arranged based on availability before the baptism date.
Additional Information
What the parish provides
St. Cecilia provides a white baptismal garment and a baptism candle for each child receiving the sacrament.
If your child will wear a traditional white christening gown, the garment may simply be placed over it.
