Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: “Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word. CCC 1213

Baptisms at St. Cecilia are usually held Saturday mornings depending upon availability.

Parents must be registered parishioners and active in the parish for six months prior to baptism. Catholics from other parishes requesting infant baptism must provide a letter of good standing and permission from their pastor.

There is a baptism class that can be arranged according to availability.  Please call the office or contact Father to schedule.
