Holy Matrimony
The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament. CCC 1601
Marriage Preparation
The Church, in her pastoral concern for persons preparing for marriage, wishes to emphasize the sacred and serious nature of the marriage covenant. As love joins man and woman, so they are bound more closely to God. Couples considering marriage should contact their Pastor well in advance of the wedding date (6 months). Couples meet with Father on two ocassions and then begin marriage preparation which takes six months. The preparation process is a beautiful journey that includes meetings with a mentor couple from the parish. All weddings will be reserved for active parishioners.

Irregular Marriages and Declaration of Nullity (Annulments)
Please reach out to Father to begin the process if you are in an irregular marriage. Please do not schedule a wedding until the declaration of nullity process has been completed.
